Why can't my website use all of the server's storage space?

Think of your server like a smartphone. Just as a phone’s storage isn’t entirely available for your apps and photos because the phone’s Operating System (OS) and essential files take up some space, your servers work similarly.

Around 18 GB to 25 GB of the server’s total storage is used for its own OS and important files that keep it running smoothly.

This means the remaining space is what’s available for your website. We ensure this balance so that your website can operate efficiently and securely on a well-maintained server.

When you choose to upgrade, you’ll only be charged the pro-rated difference between your current plan and the new plan.
