The Test: WordPress Performance Tester
To measure the raw performance of our new infrastructure, we utilized the WordPress Performance Tester plugin. This widely-used tool stresses PHP, MySQL, and database queries, providing a realistic assessment of server performance under load.
We focused on the Total Time (in seconds) metric from the Server Performance Benchmarks section, which reflects the overall speed and responsiveness of the server. Each test was run three times, and we took the average to ensure accuracy.
The Results: Blistering Speed
Our new servers, powered by the Ultra-High Frequency Cloud, achieved a remarkable average Total Time of just 5.51 seconds. This represents a significant improvement over our older servers, which clocked in at 8.78 seconds.
